Sophomore at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.  In her free time, she is passionate about literature and music. Some of her favorite books include the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, and Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and her favorite bands include My Chemical Romance, Green Day, and Frank Iero and the Patience.


Sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. Anushay is also the founder of treasurHER, a nonprofit organization that aims to increase access to healthcare, and reduce the stigma towards topics such as, menstruation, abortion methods, female reproductive system cancers, childbirth complications, diabetes, and so much more, through education and service.  Anushay is excited to promote the importance of education and become part of a movement that builds a better world through Storybox Books.


Freshman at Rhode Island College, studying biology and minoring in nutritional sciences on a pre-med track. Shreena is tremendously involved within her community, and engaged in various different events. She is also very active within non-profits in Rhode Island as well as the Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and volunteers at various homeless shelters, blood drives, and community outreach centers. She is also working at the RI State House as a House Representative, and as an intern at the RI State House. Shreena believes that every child should have the capability to read and have a great book in hand, which is why she is advocate for Storybox Books and their mission. She hopes to further her advancement as the Regional Director of Rhode Island and being able to change a child’s life one book at a time.


Sophomore at Winchester High School. Sofia is always looking for different ways to help and get involved in her community. She volunteers at blood drives and other events in her town. She also works with her fellow peers to develop interactive STEM lessons and teach them to elementary students. In her free time, Sofia loves to hike, ski, and play soccer with her friends and family. She also loves sitting down with a good book. Sofia first heard about Storybox Books at the 2018 Harvard Global Health Conference. She was immediately impressed with their organization and was so excited to get involved. Sofia strongly believes that reading is a crucial part of children’s lives. She hopes to spread Storybox Book’s mission and give more children access to reading materials.


Sophomore at Andrean High School in Merrillville, IN. Dario was nominated to represent his school at the 43rd Annual Richard G. Lugar Symposium for Tomorrow’s Leaders at the University of Indianapolis. He has also been nominated to attend the Ambassador Leadership Summit at Harvard Law School to help formulate a community project to implement positive impact within his community. Dario is a board member of the Ambassadors at Andrean High School, where he attends student panels for Q&A’s with prospective students and families. Dario is a preeminent member of the student council and has created three projects for his school such as “Winter Courtyard”, “Fall Courtyard” and “59’er Splash”. Dario has created and currently leads Students Initiatives Council ( S.I.C. ) where he and his team create projects for their school. Dario is in the Spanish Honor Society and a member of the Y.A.R.C. planning committee, Campus Ministry Planning Committee, and Diversity Club. He also is the current president of the debate club. Dario also plays varsity football and enjoys lifting weights, networking, and learning more about today’s politics and education. Dario’s collegiate aspirations are to study political science with a focus on public policy or pre-law. Dario is a firm believer in helping others build their success, education, and leadership, which has led him to join Storybox Books to further the mission and awareness of literacy in today’s world.


Junior attending Merrillville High School in Indiana. Izayah is passionate about gaining and spreading as much knowledge and help as he can throughout his involvement in a variety of school programs and community organizations. He is highly involved in his school being a part of many clubs including Art Club, Academic Super Bowl, Spell bowl, NHS, and Freshmen mentoring. Outside of school Izayah volunteers at many places including local nursing homes. He is also a current President in the Paper Bridges Organization which aims to help the mental and emotional development of orphans through the use of letters and other useful resources. Izayah believes that knowledge and education are of utmost importance and should be available to every child no matter their status, which is why hopes to be helpful to Storybox Books in their mission and aid in the improvement of literacy all throughout the country.
